Hassle-free microgreens

I decided to try the Hamama Microgreen Starter Kit after seeing some good reviews online. Ordering was simple enough on their website. It arrived within a week, packaged securely. The instructions were clear, and setting up the Ceramic Grow Tray with the Salad Mix Seed Quilt was a breeze. I had a question about how often to water, so I used their online chat support, and they responded quickly and were helpful. The microgreens grew well, no issues at all. The quality of the greens was good, tasted fresh. It's truly a 'set it and forget it' kind of thing until harvest. I'm impressed with how easy it was from start to finish.

Good value overall

I was looking for a microgreen kit and stumbled upon Hamama. I snagged a first-order discount which was a nice bonus. Got the Microgreen Starter Kit with some Broccoli Microgreens quilts. The setup was pretty straightforward and the greens grew fast. For what I paid, it felt like a solid purchase, especially with the initial saving. I'll probably get more quilts when these run out.

Ordered the Starter Kit. Got it in about five days. Easy to set up. Greens grew as advertised. Good product.

Decent kit, slow shipping

I ordered the Microgreen Starter Kit with Pea Shoot Seed Quilts. The kit itself is well-designed and the seed quilts really do make it easy to grow microgreens. The greens grew successfully and tasted good. My main gripe was the shipping time; it took over a week to arrive, which felt a bit slow compared to other online purchases I've made. Customer service was fine when I inquired about the delay, but it wasn't super fast. Overall, a good product, but they could improve on getting orders out quicker.

Fun to grow

So I got one of those Hamama kits, the one with the Bamboo Grow Tray and some Spicy Daikon Microgreens. Thought it might be a fun little project. It came pretty quick, which was cool. Putting it together was super easy, barely took any time. And honestly, watching the greens pop up was actually pretty neat. They tasted good too, added a nice kick to my sandwiches. Definitely a cool thing to have going on in the kitchen.

Can you stack coupon codes on Hamama? I have a first-time buyer one but also saw an influencer code somewhere.

T Tara 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure it's just one code per order. I tried to use two once and it only let me apply one.

Yeah, I think most places are like that. Pick the one that gives you the best discount!

Hey has anyone tried the Hamama kits? Wondering if it's actually as easy as they say or if I'm just going to end up with moldy dirt lol.

T Tom Silva 2 months ago
Yeah, totally. I got the starter kit and it was super easy. Literally just add water once and wait. My radish microgreens came out great.

It's pretty foolproof! I'm usually terrible with plants and even I managed to get a decent harvest. They're definitely not exaggerating the 'one watering' thing.

anyone tried Hamama vs Click and Grow? trying to decide which one to go with for microgreens.

K Kevin A. 2 months ago
I haven't used Click and Grow but the Hamama kits are super low maintenance. If you want something truly hands-off, Hamama is great because you literally water it once and forget it until harvest.

Click and Grow is more about a whole indoor garden system, so it's a bigger upfront cost. Hamama is just for microgreens and way simpler. Depends if you want just microgreens or a full-on herb garden type thing.

Thinking of getting the starter kit for my mom for Mother's Day. How long does shipping usually take to say, Florida?

P Paula 2 months ago
I'm in Florida too, mine took about a week and a half last time I ordered. Might be a bit faster now that it's not holiday rush.

Mine arrived in like 5 business days, but I'm closer to the west coast so that might make a difference. Still, pretty quick for a gift.

Are the seed quilts reusable? Or do you have to buy new ones every time you want to grow something?

R Renee N. 1 month ago
You gotta buy new seed quilts each time. They're designed for one use.

E Elena Romero 1 month ago
No, they're not reusable. The seeds are embedded in them and once you harvest, that's it for that quilt. You just toss it and start a fresh one.
